Zhao Qishan, an attorney, has long focused on dispute resolution in the fields of intellectual property and antitrust, with particular in-depth research on legal disputes involving standard essential patents and antitrust issues related to intellectual property. Before joining Beijing Linde Law Firm, Ms. Zhao served as Director of Intellectual Property Policy at ZTE Corporation, where she was responsible for researching legal issues in the IP field and advising on corporate policy, and she repeatedly represented the company in providing feedback for legislative amendments and policy formulation in the intellectual property arena. Previously, Ms. Zhao also conducted postdoctoral research at the Institute of Law of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and taught patent law at the Shanghai University School of Law.

 

Ms. Zhao has frequently participated in seminars and research projects concerning legislative amendments and policy formulation in the SEP and antitrust fields. She has been repeatedly invited to speak at various international forums and working group meetings on intellectual property policies within standard-setting organizations. She has published dozens of professional academic papers in both domestic and international publications.
