Mr. Wu is primarily responsible for handling all patent dispute-related matters at Sitao IP, including invalidation procedures, administrative and civil litigation. He particularly specializes in FRAND and SEP cases.

 

With over 16 years of professional experience, Mr. Wu served as an examiner at the Mechanical Invention Examination Department and the Patent Reexamination Board of the China National Intellectual Property Administration from 2004 to 2011. During this period, he handled hundreds of patent applications, reexamination, and invalidation cases. In 2012, he was seconded to the Intellectual Property Division of the Supreme People's Court for an exchange and learning program. From 2013 to 2018, he worked as a patent attorney at Beijing East IP Ltd., where he was responsible for handling patent invalidation and infringement dispute cases.

 

Mr. Wu has also published numerous articles on patent examination and protection in China.
