| Mark leads the Pinsent Masons Technology IP team and specialises in tech patent litigation as well as advising on other contentious IP matters. His practice has grown significantly over recent years to include clients such as OPPO, Fujitsu, Safran Seats, AdvanSix, Nordic Semiconductor, Balfour Beatty, LG Electronics, technology platform providers as well as various financial institutions. Mark is very highly regarded by his clients for his technical understanding and handling of complex matters including F/RAND disputes. He has successfully represented clients before the UK Courts at all levels and acted on matters before the Courts in various European countries as well as in arbitration proceedings.
Alongside James Marshall, Mark is currently acting for OPPO in FRAND litigation commenced by Panasonic.
Prior to joining Pinsent Masons in 2018, Mark was part of the patent litigation at Hogan Lovells representing HTC in its multi-jurisdictional patent litigation against Nokia as well as acting for BlackBerry and Vodafone in litigation against various patent assertion entities.
